We had the most friendly server. She was awesome. The visit happened to be my birthday. She made sure I got my birthday treat!
Enjoyed the food and atmosphere. The kids enjoyed their kids menu options, while I enjoyed their selection of flavored Moscow mules. Pizza was well done.

Still very good, but margarita pizza is simply tomatoes slices, cheese and fresh basil. This was more like a basil garlic pizza, very good but not what I was expecting when I ordered margarita pizza.

Charged for kids choc milk refills. Service (at least from our waiter) was not the best. He forgot to put in the order for one of our meals, and seemed irritated when we asked about the order. This was our first time dining at the Starving Rooster, and we usually try a place a few times, but I'm on the fence about if I want to overpay to try it again.

I visited The Starving Rooster for lunch on April 18th and had decided on this location because of a good experience I previously had. This visit, however, was much less enjoyable than before. The host/server was polite and the atmosphere was calm and relaxing, but the food was terrible. We ordered sandwiches, but the bread was overcooked and very dry and hard. The food did have an odd taste, which the others at my table agreed that the sandwiches tasted like some type of cleaning solution. This visit was disappointing and, unfortunately, we will not be visiting for food again.

We went to eat there this evening and the food and service was horrible. The waitress took forever to acknowledge that we were sitting there, when we ordered drinks we also ordered an appetizer which came out when our meal was almost complete. The soup of the day had good flavor but was more the consistency of chili. Our pizza was dry and barely even warm. We were charged for an extra side of ranch so all in all very disappointed. We will not be going back.

Not really much flavor at all, the crust on both the flat bread and pizza dough were lacking depth of any kind. Very basic, very bland. The beer, 5 dollars a bottle.... really? I can get a six pack of the same stuff with 3 dollars more. Very disappointing. Insert >Ultra sad face here.

This place was absolutely delicious! I was surprised that there was such a good pizza joint hidden within Minot. The pizza is great, they have many other selections as well. I wouldn't expect this kind of a place to even be in ND; it competes with other great pizza places we've experienced in big cities. It can be loud and kind of cramped but not too much to complain about. I imagine the locals like to eat here often. The place is clean and we had good service, even if it took kind of a long time. I would def go to the Starving Rooster again!

The resturant is themed around old grain processing equipment but feels upscale and well built. If you've never been here you owe it to yourself to visit and give their spinach and artichoke dip and fire baked pizzas a try.

I had the Thai Flatbread pizza, it had a good flavor. However, the sauce on it was cold. My wife had the Garlic Flatbread and asked for Mozzarella cheese on it. It came with a lot, I mean a lot of garlic and very little cheese. It was more like eating bread with garlic. The ice tea was the darkest I have ever seen. When asked the nice waitress said it was made fresh this morning and turns dark like that when added to ice? I've been drinking and making tea for over 20 years and never had that happen. The only time it is dark like that is when it is old.
