I agree with many of the other comments regarding management. They are consistently rude, degrading, and condescending. I have never had a concern taken seriously and Ive never had a positive interaction (in person, phone, or email) with any one of the staff. This is very disappointing considering they have two on-site staff, an office manager and two property managers.
Ive voiced a couple of concerns over my time here so far, all of which are ignored, or just explained to me that weve never had any problems with it, so this is how we do things. Maybe the reason management never has any problems is because they are notorious for ignoring their residents and sweeping their concerns under the rug. When communicating with staff I constantly hear the words Weve never had a problem [with it]. After having my concerns ignored consistently, I would probably stop voicing them as well, which I would assume is why they never have problems with anything . . . people know they are only going to be ignored, so whats the point of trying to voice a concern?
There are times when I have walked by on the on-site office, and NEVER see the employees working. Their feet are up on the desks, and giggling. Ive witnessed this on more than one occasion. I can clearly see that this is why nothing ever gets done around here. Theyve hired a couple of chatty cathys to run the office. They are also not consistent with what the lease agreement states, compared to what they do. Management breaks the lease agreement more often than anyone else. My water bills ALWAYS come late. The hallways and lobby and never swept or vacuumed. These been a large dead bug on the same spot on the floor for almost the entire summer. Fitness room is not maintained and they have REFUSED to fix certain machines, by putting signs up that say I will NOT fix this machine again. Lazy. Buying quality products could probably eliminate that issue. They say that they give reasonable notice regarding memos, however I have seen memos posted the DAY BEFORE the alarms go off, leaving residents a matter of minutes after getting home and viewing the flyer to schedule daycare or other plans for the next day, because taping flyers to the doors in the year 2017 is their ONLY METHOD OF COMMUNICATION WITH TENANTS! Forget about emailing, the only reason they dont send emails is because We find that many tenants ignore or delete emails, so those which are important go on the doors. Well who cares?! Let them delete their emails! Those are probably the same people who cant manage to pay their rent on time. I could go on, but for the purpose of keeping this short, those are the highlights.
Again, Ive never had a positive experience with any one of the staff at Woodside or Connect Property Management. Every staff member Ive communicated with has been very disrespectful and condescending. They show absolutely no interest in addressing the concerns of their tenants. Even though their tenants pay them hundreds or even thousands of dollars each month, they are too set in their ways to have any interest in updating their methods of communication or changing the way that they do things to better serve their customers.
