The employees and management are always courteous and helpful with anything I need! I definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a one of a kind apartment !

The fire alarm goes off several times a week at all hours of the day. Management are useless and there have been 3 new management teams since we've moved in. Apartment is nice as we were first to move into our unit but the building is poorly constructed - no noise or heat protection - windows and walls are thin...There is no way we will renew our lease.

My Fiance and I absolutely love The Royal Athena! We have been renting in the Philadelphia area for over 10 years and The Royal Athena has been, by far, the best experience. This complex has it all; perfect location, topnotch amenities and an accommodating staff that is always readily available. I would highly recommend The Royal Athena!

Very impressed with The Royal Athena. It's a unique property with all of the high end amenities one would come to expect from luxury branding. I found myself in a situation which required a quick move, which led me to director of sales, Amanda McGranaghan. Amanda was supremely professional, accessible and knowledgable in her position. Most of my interaction with the property was via internet and phone prior to personally seeing the property. I ultimately arrived to tour a specific unit; Amanda considered my needs and, on the spot, showed me a unit that had become available that morning. This was the unit I ultimately rented. Amanda provided a much appreciated personal touch to an all-to-often impersonal process. She was the reason I rented here and I am very pleased with my decision. Kudos to the O'Neill Property Group for creating a top notch property and providing an even better staff.

I loved it here! The pool, apartment features, and easy access to Manayunk! Very convenient and close to the city as well. You can walk places, bike, train, or hop right on the highway. I had good experiences with management whenever I had an issue. I would definitely recommend this if you are looking in the area!

I was so sad to leave The Royal Athena for work relocation purposes! I absolutely loved the staff and beautiful amenities! I have a large dog so a pet friendly community with no weight or breed restrictions was super important to me! I was so impressed that when I had to relocate for work, I went to another O'Neill property!

Lets see if Oneill properties does any better at managing this property than other failed attempts to develop a luxury complex. At my previous development managed by this company, the property manager was fired amidst a wave of scandal and financial discrepancies. Oneill Properties then went back to residents (residents who already had signed valid lease renewals months earlier) and tried to claim the renewal was invalid because it was written by the former property manager. Notwithstanding the fact that residents had valid renewals in place, Oneill then demanded residents pay hundreds, even thousands more in some cases, than was previously agreed upon in their renewal contract. Oneill, apparently thinking they had some residents over a barrel, threatened to evict those who failed to acquiesce and come up with the additional cash. If I were one of these residents affected by Oneills unlawful tactics I would consider a civil lawsuit for breach of contract and would also file a formal complaint with the state Attorney Generals office, Bureau of Consumer Protection, HUD, or the Federal Trade Commission. I have no skin in making these comments. Yet, I see the Oneill Properties review shills are out in full force defending their criminal enterprise.
