Located in beautiful Boyle Heights just a short 5 minute drive from the very popular Arts District of LA, this room is a true oasis that is available June 23 - Sept. 7. $1200/month includes rent and all utilities, including a cleaner who comes once a month.
Room is fully furnished with closet, a private bath with walk in shower, and a gorgeous sun room attached for use as an office space - the perfect set up for one who works from home. Apartment is the entire second floor of a house and has 2 human roommates, 1 small canine and 1 small feline. You may not see the cat, Edith, at all as she likes to stay in her space with her owner/roommate, Leah. Spotso the dog is a very sweet and quiet little guy who’s very shy but very affectionate, and will be looked after by roommate, Matt. While the house is kept fastidiously clean, one who suffers from pet allergies may not be a good fit for the space.
Shared space includes a cozy living/dining room, WONDERFUL kitchen, laundry room, back porch, and front lawn area. The only thing the kitchen lacks is a dish washer but if you’re a cook, the kitchen is well equipped with anything/everything you’d ever need. If you’re a musician, the piano is kept (relatively) in tune but the guitars seen in the photos will be stored for the summer.
Human roommates Matt and Leah are wonderful - both in the entertainment industry, both clean, respectful humans and both apart of the LGBTQ+ community - as is the vacating tenant. Matt currently works from home while Leah is often working out of the house and often on set. While the space is not a party house by any means, the roommates do like to entertain on occasion as much as COVID allows. The front yard space is perfect for summer cookouts/hangouts which the subletting tenant is welcome to join in at any level they would like.
It is mandatory that tenant is one that has either been fully vaccinated from COVID or is partially vaccinated with an appointment in place for the second dose, and who is able to provide a vaccination card as proof of their status.
