Ive been living here for just 8 months and it feels like home! Mike, Candace, Victoria and Stephanie are the perfect example of professionalism and believe me when i tell you, they really care about they're residents, ive lived in other apartment complexes where they treat you like just another tenant and rent money, they really really care about you're comfort and happiness and thats is something to cherish every single day. I have never experienced something like that and i would keep encouraging friends and family to definitely choose Carrington Square apartments 1st, so definitely consider living here, it is amazing!!! They treat you like family. I can not thank Mike and staff enough for really making me feel like home and caring for me. I am definitely and without any doubt staying with you. You are so awesome!!! I lived here for approximately 2 yrs. Good luck getting your deposit back no matter how great of a shape you leave the place. They were always great about any maintenance needs. The staff are nice. The surrounding tenants were difficult, leaving several bags of trash on their balconies. Which the staff wouldn't address. The pool is really not maintained very well.

Planes, trains, automobiles & B.S When you move in the office staff gives you a paper and tells you to go through the apartment and mark down all of the exisitng damage. If you're not smart or don't care and you don't put everything down then yes you will be charged for it when you move and C.S does that so they can keep your deposit because that is the only way things get updated. These apartments are right next to airport 2 so getting your roof buzzed by little planes all day is not a plus. The train tracks are literally 50 feet away from the apartments so about 2-3 nights a week trains go by all hours of the night. When I moved here in 2014 some jeep with a lot of people in it would park outside by my window & smoke God knows what with the windows up so after that happened a few more times I called the police and thankfully that stopped happening. The public still uses this place as a dump & instead of reprimanding residents for overflowing garbage dumpsters in a monthly newsletter I suggested to the owner gating the community and installing security cameras would help keep people from using the garbage dumpsters as the county dump. On seperate occasions the owner told me not to "stomp around my apartment too much because my neighbor was going to be having a baby" I didn't say anything back to him about it because A: I do excercise sometimes so maybe he confuses that with stomping and B: I'm a big girl so maybe its just me walking normally? He also told me shortly after we moved in to "step around the dog feces" after I complained about that when one of my kids stepped in a big pile of it. The office told me they can't do anything about it which is also B.S because anyone that lives here can tell you who doesn't clean up after their dog (some people in one of the townhomes said they always see some big fat pregnant lady and her big dog out poopin but not scoopin) I wish I could say the dog feces was the worst thing you could step on but I have seen drug paraphanelia on the grounds here too and one of my neighbors said one of her small children found a meth pipe outside while playing. Kids play basketball all night (which really sucks if you live by the basketball court) and then sit there and also smoke God knows what like they're invisible. I really liked the response I got from the owner when I complained about that because he told me to take pictures. Really? How about if you want pictures you install cameras? No? Ok. And the office staff is not friendly. Maintenence does as little as possible, I fell and saw 2 more people almost fall on the ice this week. I get treated very rudely like the time I went into the office the day after one of the all night b-ball sessions I was greeted with "lemme guess, your're here to complain about the basketball lastnight." Or when they thought it was clever to make fun of the size of my children or the quality of my car. Residents also like to leave threating letters to people they deem "complainers or cry babies" if you do complain. But yet they put cigarette butts down onto the landscaping rather than use an ashtray. The parking stalls are another nightmare. The design is off which left little parking spaces off to the side and if I don't park in both spots I wake up the next day to vomit/spit everywhere or my side window broken off of my car or bums/drug addicts sleeping in their car next to mine & leaving their fast food garbage when they leave. The worst experience I have had here was recently when I went in to the office to resign my lease. I got humiliated by the owner when he told me twice "oh come on now Amy you have filled out this paperwork before" because I didn't fill out the paperwork right & when I asked if I could come back later that day since I wasn't prepared & he threatened me not to renew my lease! And I quote "then I will just non renew your lease" A few days after this post C.S taped an eviction/non renewal of my lease to my door. I guess they'd rather kick me out than fix their problems.

The only thing I can complain about is the residents who speed through here like it's a damn race track. They also don't care to stop at the stop signs provided. I've commented on this various times I've even suggested they put speed bumps up and they have done nothing besides tell me to get license plate numbers. The whole lighting issue is true but it doesn't affect me because I'm sensitive to light and always buy thick dark curtains for my apartments. Also there was a whole issue with many residents getting their tires popped. I was one of them in numerous occasions. I've also seen stolen vehicles with the glass busted parked for weeks on end here and yes eventually they get towed. Like someone suggested already they should gate the community up and place more cameras. Other than those issues my neighbors are quiet and I don't ever hear them.

This place first started out great! Then they kicked me and my boyfriend out for disturbance of the peace, I guess warning our neighbors about Continuous damage of cars is not okay... out of the 6 months of living at the carrington square apartments we had three nails in our tire and one knife slash. The first night living here we had a friend come over and only after him staying over for TWO hours his vehicle was stolen.... BTW they only have two cameras and one is night vision, when we asked the front office to put up more cameras they put up bright LED lights that is impossible to sleep through so definitely invest in some curtains. the same friend had his car towed in one hour without a notice... Our next door neighbor had his car windows smashed and his property stolen. Management is not the best I would never recommend this place to anybody.

Mike desperately needs to read this book:Delivering Knock Your Socks Off Service (Knock Your Socks Off Series)... i admit, i was not having an emergency but i just needed some help with my noisy neighbors downstairs and i was calling to see if one o them could come and help me just talk to them since ive talked to my neighbors but they won't listen :( Mike was very rude and mean! I work in customer service and ive had packs and packs of people waiting in front of me, me working by myself and on the phone and im not mean or rude to any of them, i ask customers really nicely to hold for a min, that is it, sooooo disappointing and i wont be trusting them again, i was asking fam and friends to move over here but NOW i would tell them to no move here because i dont want them to be treated the way i was treated over the phone and to lose trust to on the office people... THANKS A LOT! i was content but not anymore.

Mike holm is a jerk! you pretty much pay $900 to live in a box with no privacy, you can hear your neighbors to the left right above below. paper thin walls. (cheaply built) no surprise there! when you think about carrington square, know" there are a 100 places better"

The office staff and Maintenance are very friendly. They were happy to help us with everything from day 1 and even worked with us on our move in date. We were very impressed with how upfront they were with their pricing. Almost every other complex we looked at had all sorts of ridiculous fees that were never included in the upfront rent pricing. This wasn't the case when we moved into carrington. We new exactly what we were going to end up paying when we walked out the door the first time, and didn't have to question and recalculate after the fact. Such a refreshing experience after shopping for so long!

I have lived at Carrington square for 3 years. The good- Management is amazing. - Maintence is also super friendly. Anything we have needed done has been taken care of within 24 hours. The grounds look nice and are well taken care of. -My kids love going to the pool and the playgrounds here. -We love the the monthly activities management hosts for our little community. - we also get a news letter each month that is greatly appreciated. It updates us on anything new - I never hear my neighbors. The walls must be crazy thick or I have the worlds quietest neighbors. - I love how close this place is to shopping. 7 min drive to Jordan landing or an hour walk. It's a nice little walk to see a movie. The not so good- 2 random people walked in my house we always keep the door locked now. - dog poop.... seriously I hate this sooooo much and should probably knock a star off for the amount of dog poop I have stepped in. On the plus side I did see they had a doggy doo station with bags. now just need to get people to use them. - kids just steal stuff off your patio, I had called the police on one for stealing my sons bike. Got the bike back. - also neigborhood kids are out crazy late and sometimes we get ding dong ditched... I get up at 4 am sooo that sucks when I have to answer the door at midnight and no one is there. Overall my family has really enjoyed living here and look forward to the next few years in this community.

My family and I moved into our apartment in April 2017, so a little over four months ago. The apartment was remodeled very well, new carpet, new countertops, and new flooring throughout the kitchen and bathrooms. Loved the welcome home sign that was left on the counter with some delicious treats. Any maintenance issues that I have had all my orders have been done immediately within that same day or the next morning., Management is very respectful, caring and very nice towards me,always has an open door for my questions and concerns. I love how they have little activity days for the children out near the gazebo and near the park, always doing fun ideas to make you feel welcome. Swimming pools are always clean and ready for use during open hours, Other residents are kind and respectful as well as working together to keep the campus very clean.Carrington square definitely makes you feel at home! :-)

I just moved out of here. This place is the worst place I have ever rented. There is a reason that the rent here is so cheap. The management is absolutely horrible. The apartment are completely outdated and the neighbors are the worst. My apartment constantly smelt like weed and I don't even smoke it. It's a sketchy place at night. I never felt safe there. Good luck on getting your deposit back. They will nickle and dime you for everything so make sure you notate every little thing on the walk through or you will be paying for someone else's damage. Pay the extra money and move somewhere that management actually cares!!!

The outdate appliances are for sure a huge failure on there end my oven looks to be well over ten years old. They painted our counters the most godawful brown that doesnt even match our cabinets. And then they gloated about them like they were nice. And dont even get me started on the overall cleanliness, when we moved in i had to wash EVERYTHING! nothing was clean when we moved in stains on the wall rust spots on the ceiling countless holes that im sure theyll try to charge us for even thought we took date marked pictures of everything. Management is terrible they seem to be truly awful people to me not just bad at management but horrible people skills. I used to think the only thing i liked around here was maintance. But now even im not happy with that. They let snow pile up for days after a snow storms , gross negligence is what i call it. And then we get the the retaliation which i may remind you is illegal in utah. They say there going to evict us because we complain about them not shovleing the snow. Mind you we were not the only ones complaining about it. ***UPDATE*** 2-28-2017 My husband was told yesterday by the office staff that he is not allowed to wear his football benine, because it makes him look suspicious....

They were nice, the key cards hardly ever worked. Didn't mind living here. Except when we moved out I had a paper from the walk through about what needed to be done. Expecting to get most of my deposit back they kept almost all of it for things that were never brought up in the walk through. They did this with two other tenets i had made friends with. We didn't decide to fight it because we moved out of state. So just know they will keep your deposit no matter what you do. Recommend living here one of the nicer places in the area though

The management there is horrible. They will try and screw you at your move out for everything you didn't write down. They had the pool shut down for 3 full months in the summer. "We're waiting on parts to come in." They could have dug a new one and rebuilt the whole thing during the wait! They also take forever to fix the things that break in the fitness center. Both treadmills were broken at the same time for 2 months. God forbid they spend any money on upkeep that has actual value to those that live there and not just the stuff that looks pretty to bring in new sucker... er tenants. And those train tracks 100 yards to the east of your window, do see trains at 2 AM. It blows it's horn at 2 AM. And it's loud. Don't let them tell you otherwise.
