It's funny the front if the buildings are very well maintained . However in building 300-312 if you look out over the rear it appears no one ever removes the debris behind that building. There were three chairs, a pot someone didn't want to clean , an umbrella, and lots of trash thrown everywhere. If looking down the back it was the only one with garbage everywhere! Also noticed the gutters in the rear unites are separated from the wall and are pouring on those renters in the rear units. They had to get soaked just to get inside there door! Someone needs to pay attention to the front and rear of these units! Also hanging gutters are a safety hazard!! There is now a sublease in 312. They have a pit bull that they open the door and let him run free. Management couldn't be bothered. This happens several times a day. I hope Deer Meadow has proper insurance. This is a huge problem!

We've been looking to move from the west side for a few months now and after reading the reviews online we decided to call and as the reviews suggested asked for Cassie. We toured the same day and the reviews were not wrong! On our tour we fell in love with the 2 bedroom floor plan and property. but we also discovered that we might make too much money. We were disappointed to be back at square one again. However, Cassie was nice enough to offer other options in the area. Such a great help, we ended up finding an apartment right down the road! So happy for the time that was taking in getting to know us and helping find our new home! Deer Meadow is worth a look, ask for Cassie!

Wow! This place is seriously great! I am so excited to move in. We have been apt hunting literally for 2 weeks and when we came to Deer Meadows we were amazed! We were greeted as soon as we came in by Nicole. She was super helpful and knowledgeable. She was able to tell us about the community AND the surrounding neighborhood! School districts are important to me and so are the every day necessities. She put our minds at ease with the proximity views of local markets and other businesses! She even got us to sign for a floor plan we weren't really looking for! I think we will enjoy the bigger space though! I can't wait to move in!!! Looking forward to the next 1 year lease and beyond!! I drive in from out of town and the lady tells us theres a wait list for a year. Very disappointed. A waste of time. Zero communication.

Cassie made my experience AMAZING! I have been searching for an apartment for months so I've visited tons of different property locations and not one person has been as welcoming and helpful as Cassie! She is beyond knowledgable of her property as she answered every single detailed question I had! So many people at other properties never have complete, confident answers. Other people often have to call their manager or look stuff up... Cassie could begin the process and follow it to its closing without hesitation. She could easily be the property manager (at least should be). It seemed as if Cassie had been working for that property for years based on her in-depth knowledge. She also made me feel super comfortable there. She seemed to truly care about me and accommodate me. She didn't rush me at all like other properties do. Cassie made the process super easy and fun! The property itself is also really nice. There are a lot of beautiful properties but not all properties have great staff like deer meadow. It's reassuring to live in a place where I know I can count on Cassie to take care of any needs I may encounter. I highly recommend this property and ask for Cassie if you visit!!

Thank you Cassie for making our apartment search so EASY. After visiting the office we KNEW we HAD to live here at Deer Meadow. Cassie made applying so easy and even fun. We will have to wait until September for our apartment which was a little longer than we had hoped for. But we know the wait will be well worth it after we see our new home!

Most apartment complexes you go to they automatically pre-judge you and I can say I didn't feel that here. I wish you offered move in specials though. Thanks for the experience!

We were super excited when we Cassie reached back out to us about the 3 bedroom specials! We loved touring Deer Meadow when we were in town but there was nothing available for the time we were looking to Jacksonville. Luckily a few months later they reach back out to us and ended up having exactly what we were lookingfor!! We can not wait to get to Florida to enjoy the sun and we are even more excited about our new home!!

They compromised my banking information and didn't notify me.. I found out when I went there to make my holding deposit 4/5 days later. Cassie and the manager still continue to act as if it's no big deal. (Please Be careful with the information you give to them) They assured me that they had 3 units available for my family and I to move into & then sent me a TEXT stating they are sorry but they do not have any units available. I call for an explanation and never received a call back even after receiving confirmation that they received my vm. They will not issue me a refund and could care less about the fact that they lead my family on, took our money, compromised my banking info and potentially left a family with no place to live. My experience from beginning to end has been a nightmare and I am gonna continue to document my experience everywhere I can and let everyone know that Deer Meadow Apartments do NOT value their applicants.

We just left from our tour at Deer Meadow with Cassey! We decided duing the tour that Deer Meadow was the place for our family. We love the large walk in laundry rooms and we have been looking all over for an apartment with washer and dryer inside! We also like that their was more than enough room for our dog to enjoy inside the apartment as well. June can not come soon enough!

Let me say that my experience was very welcoming here at deer meadow apartments. Stacie was so helpful and informative about the area and made me feel at ease. I have had my share of going to different complexes and some will be nice to your face and not inform you of waiting lists and not having an apartment when you need it. Im just happy that she assured me of what coming available and she also made sure I was happy with what I chose. I also worked with Cassie as well and she was very friendly and helpful.

I lived here for a very short time back in 2015. As a young working professional, my stay was okay and quite lovely, until Aspen management took over. Also, for the price of $800 a month, the unit was full of roaches. I had to order someone to come out because the pest control they have on their team was not working. I had to break my lease, because of a mandatory job training requirement in another city.
Granted, I know when you break a lease there will be financial stipulations and extra fees. Just, not $3,000 worth. I was routed to a third party creditor, which I am now in contact with. But now 3 YEARS LATER, I'm still being harassed by the management. If you hire a 3rd party, leave it to them. Don't Harass previous tenants who no longer live there. GET A LIFE!!! They are extremely unprofessional. A detergent set of employees & company!!! Not worth the money nor the headaches.
The people in the office were amazing when I visited! They gave such a good tour and provided the best service. I can't wait to move in!

I've lived here for 2 years and I love my apartment! Just purchased the new lighting upgrade and accent wall that the new management is offering and it really brightened up the place! Maintenance always handles my work orders the same day and I love going to the office for a cup of coffee and to chat with the staff! Definitely recommend Deer Meadow! You get SO much for a great price!

Currently live here and people in office always seem to go back & fourth about everything. Had a major issue with my water heater and they would come and fix the issue just for it to break again the same day. Everytime i call about a maintence issue and its more than one thing they will come fix one and never do the other. Also , when the office says i have until the 6th for the grace period to pay rent and i take my rent on the 6th and says i have to pay a 50 dollar late fee even though she was the one to say that. So now im out 50 dollars for a miscommunication on their end. Have had nothing but issues living here. I do NOT recommend!!!

Aspen Management is a joke. Kim in the office is very unprofessional. They will smile in your face and try to play you. My family and I had to move out of state due to an emergency and cleaned the apartment. When we took the keys to the office everything was fine. But i found out they lied to us and wrote a fake 60 day notice to leave. I received a voice mail with them trying to evict us. When we told them we had to move and left the apartment in great shape. They tried to tell us technically we still live there for 60 days. When they had already walked the apartment and we had gave them both the mailbox and apartment keys. And they had already changed the locks. They are sneaky and wrong. All good reviews are from the office. This is a roach infested property. German cockroaches ruined our belongings. We are clean people!!! My newborn had roaches crawling on her at night. The pest control is a joke!! New management is horrible. If u have bad credit or good credit... Take your money elsewhere!!! Not worth the 800+.
