I saw a dude empty his entire engine oil into the parking lot. Utterly disgusting. They don't care about user feedback! Don't believe this BS!

Just moved in with my wife. We noticed many cars in our lot that seem to have expired plates, just parked there to take up spots. They may need to crack down on these people. Other than that seems ok for now. Grounds ok, looks like they may have some gutter/ drain issues as well. We shall see.

With All due respect I have no clue who this Nya Carter is, but she must work for a rival apartment complex in the area because Ive been living here since 07 and there has NEVER been any murders here since Ive been a resident. I do recall a couple of years ago a kid who lived here was murdered but it happened on a complete other side of town. A simple google search or police record search/inquiry can confirm that. Its just that simple. One shouldnt tell mistruths that can easily be verified as correct or not because it really hurts credibility. But in being totally fair I will say the quality of residents theyre approving to move in has declined somewhat over the last 6 years, but thank God I cant say its caused a spike in criminal activity...yet and sometime maintenance can drag their heels if its not an emergency.

As a single female, safety was a big concern for me when I began apartment hunting. I will say that since I moved to Crystal Village this year 2009, I have never felt more safe espescially for this area in Durham. The staff is wonderful and I really appreciate the routine maintenance checks. I have really had a pleasant experience here.
