Ive lived at the Bank and Boston lofts for 5 months now. The staff is super friendly(Taylor helped me with everything and was so kind!) and always very helpful with any questions or concerns I may have. The people living in this complex are super friendly as well. Anytime Ive sent in a service request, they have came out the same day to fix whatever the issue may be. Its pet friendly and the location is awesome. I love living here and as a first time renter I couldnt be happier. Definitely so glad I live here

Overall a good place to live, walls are thick and tenants respect each other's personal space. The office is not open very much, so if they extended the hours past 5 that would be helpful for people with jobs that don't get off until later. Management takes a while to process the initial paperwork so be prepared for that.

I moved in about two and a half weeks ago, and I LOVE my new home! The location is beyond perfect, right in the heart of downtown. And yet, even being right downtown, you can't hear any city noise from inside the building. It feels very cozy, private, and safe. Inside the apartment, I love my high ceilings and the "loft" feel of the unit. It makes it feel much bigger than a standard 1-bedroom. My only request for service in the apartment (broken garbage disposal when I moved in) was addressed within a day. The people who work in the leasing office are super nice and helpful. This is an awesome place to live!

I am a new resident and I am very happy with my apartment. I have new appliances, tall ceilings and amazing windows! The service staff has been great and every time I submit a request, they respond diligently. There are quite a few homeless around the building but like most downtown cities, it comes with the territory. The parking downtown is expensive but Alice made it a point to disclose that during the lease signing process. I am also extremely pleased with the floor renovation in the hallways. The stained carpet was removed and replaced it with wood-type flooring. It makes a huge difference to the appearance and smell of the building.

Luxury at value! Love the loft look and feel. They seem to be always upgrading the building. Recently upgraded the hallways, fob system, locker mail system. Management keeps things under control and are extremely responsive to any concerns. Chelsey in particular has always been so very helpful. Any maintenance issues have been addressed immediately by Lawrence with speedy follow up. Ill def be living here for as long as I can!

I have been living here for 3 years and just signed my 4th year lease. I love my home. It is an old bank building that was built in 1920 and has so much character. My loft style apartment/loft has these amazing pillars and this gorgeous pitted ceiling. The staff is friendly and nice and they always get my request done in a timely manner. I have become friends with many of the residents and we spend time together both inside and outside the building. I am a professional 35 year old and I feel safe living here. It is pet friendly and all the dog owners know each other. The cleaning service keeps the common areas clean 6 days a week. This is a great location in the heart of downtown.

I lived at Bank Lofts for more than two years but chose not to renew again. The Good: - On-site management. Chelsey and Alice took it upon themselves to respond to issues promptly. One time Alice sent me a personal email two hours after the office closed to meet a commitment she made to follow up by end-of-day. Chelsey was always professional as well and took an interest in resident wellbeing. Its the best apartment staff I have worked with as a tenant. - The location. It is so nice to walk to work if you live downtown and also be close to nightlife and sports on the weekends. - Building character. Apartments have original pillars preserved within the apartments, and that is pretty cool. -Tall ceilings and open floor plans. The apartments feel bigger than the square-footage of the units, and many have great views of downtown. The Bad: -Rent increases and no amenities. Rent continues to rise each year and that is only the base cost of living here. You are nickel-and-dimed for everything. Water, Trash, Heat, Electric, Laundry, personal Renters Insurance, and PARKING are all additional expenses. For a 1 Bedroom, add an average of $150/month to the base rent (mine averaged $170/month extra). If you need parking, add an extra $150-200 to that. -Outdated heating. One month, my heating/water/trash bill was $180 by itself. The Bank Lofts building runs on steam heating instead of gas heating, doubling or tripling the bill for residents. Aimco said upgrades are in the works, but they were unwilling to guarantee that in a renewal contract or discount my bills to a gas market rate until the upgrades were made. -Internet is slow. -Homeless in the area. Living downtown should come with a decreased expectation of privacy, but I have seen it get worse over the last couple years. My personal theory is that as 16th Street is getting policed better, people are venturing to neighboring streets (17th/15th) and are hanging out near the building or in the alleys.

Love this place! The mainentance staff is great--always following through with requests and keeping me updated with the progress of certain things. Leasing staff is awesome! Alice worked to get me into this apartment by a tight deadline and was excellent every step of the way!

I have lived here for almost a year now and I absolutely love it. The staff here is amazing and they try to help as much as they possibly can and they genuinely care. I love being right downtown and the neighbors are pretty diverse and fun. I love my apartment!

As my year lease comes to a close I wish I could renew but I am moving for another job. Everything was great, staff and administration were very professional. Also, the price is probably the best bang for your buck near lodo and cap hill. Would renew again.

Living in the Bank Building has been totally sweet, but for a few problems. We had a bit too much noise due to construction, but it was over quickly and management was very helpful in coming to an agreement regarding the noise. Definitely a worthwhile place to live. What you get for your dollar is really fantastic, a great value. Concrete walls, floors and ceilings mean you don't hear much from your neighbors, and the historic details (concrete columns, super heavy duty windows) are nice. High ceilings, huge windows, and the wide hallways and massive amount of sunlight in the center of the building are all great. My dad worked for a company that occupied this building before it was apartments, so it's pretty neat that I get to live here. If you don't have a car, can tolerate a few (like seriously, just a handful every once in a while) drunk people partying on weekend nights, and think puppies are the best, living here might be for you.
