***UPDATE*** Since writing my review, office staff has had multiple chances to prove my review wrong. They are now even more unprofessional than ever. The day after i saw their response to my review, I called their office to attempt to resolve our issues. I have been met with nothing but rude, unprofessional and childish behavior from the staff. I'm met with hostility every time I've asked questions or tried to understand what i was being told. The main office woman accused me of calling her names to the maintenance men, which left both my husband and I very confused, since I've never done this. At this point, I'm hesitant to call the office for any reason. They've had multiple chances to show professionalism and have chosen the opposite with every interaction we've had. They now pretty much refuse to interact with me. They keep telling me to call corporate. Corporate refuses to answer their phones or return calls. So like I said before... RUN.. These people are lacking professionalism, class and integrity. I'll also point out, I'll happily change my review when I'm shown professionalism or any kind of humanity from Plaza Properties. I remain cautiously optimistic.

While the apartment may be decent, the staff is awful. I was hung up on and threatened to be evicted over a $60 late fee that I hadn't earned, since I paid my rent on time. The staff then acted as though they sent a letter with strict compliance orders in order to cover their mistakes. We've been tenants for years and have yet to get office staff capable of doing their job correctly. Our kitchen sink has leaked since we moved in in 2015. All of the maintenance requests we put in so far since signing our most recent least, and promises the staff made upon our lease resigning, have been ignored. **edit** The maintenance guys are fantastic. They're professional, competent and hard-working. I do not blame them for this. Rather, i blame the enormous workload and the fact that chances are, they don't get the requests. Find a landlord with a conscience and run from Trotters Landing, as they are lacking one.
