Beautiful Apartment homes. We thoroughly enjoy living here. The Apartment Managers, Tonya, Earica, and Kevin are all amazing and go out of their way for you! They know you by a first name basis, and genuinely care about their tenants! The grounds are beautiful, well kept, and the grills are always stocked with propane. We have never used the pool (we find pools in general to be gross) but it looks stunning. The maintenance gentlemen are also wonderful, and any issues, (which are rare) are resolved with the utmost priority. They often have monthly fun and exciting tenant parties (with food and drink provided), which if you're new to Charlotte, is a great way to meet people! Its a great location too, close to 485, but further enough away that you aren't fighting/hearing traffic. I'd highly recommend living here.

The staff at Hawthorne at the Greene make living here a pleasure. There is the pool, outdoor fireplace, fitness center, and clubhouse, which all are well kept and fun to use, but the office staff and maintenance crew make the real difference. They amaze me in what they accomplish everyday, while remembering our names to boot. We have loved living here for the past two years and will sign another lease again.

Today my day was made with the help of Erica at the main office. I will be moving to Charlotte at the end of the month and she took the time to answer every question I had and was very patient with me. I love this apartment complex. I especially love the front office. Erica has been wonderful in helping transition from a large home to a small apartment. Tonya open door policy makes the office a welcoming environment for residents. I initially moved in and was in the back of the property and now live near the pool. I must say that if you want a quiet serene environment the back of the property is for you while moving to the front near the pool gave me what I needed which is a chance to meet lots of people. As a new person to Charlotte with only a few family members here I did not have the base of friends I was use too. Location in the various apartments on the complex provides you the opportunity to get and be comfortable. I have a pet so I love being able to have my tiny child with me. Oh and I can't forget the maintenance department Anthony and his three person crew are fantastic. They are quick courteous.. Anthony is very good at prioritizing his staff to ensure that important jobs get done first like air conditioning and water supply. I will live here as long as I can. I do worry that the market will price me out of my home here at Hawthorne at the Green.

I've lived here for two years going on more, and I have to say it's been a great experience. The office staff is lovely, especially Earica. She's one of those rare individuals you find who just genuinely loves people. She always greets me with a heart-felt smile and is always looking to help. I look forward to chatting with her on the rare occasions I need assistance - rare because things run pretty smoothly here. The staff really goes out of their way to make things homey. There are a ton of community events, and I'm always sorry I don't get to attend more of them with my crazy schedule. The grounds are always clean and well-maintained. The maintenance staff are friendly and prompt. The location is great if you want to be close to the city but need to escape from the noise and crowds. The only downside I can think of is that if you come home late at night it's very difficult to find a parking spot. That being said, they know it's an issue and allow people to park along curbs as long as the car is moved by 9 am. The arrangement seems to work just fine.

It's a very nice looking complex on the outside but that is deceptive. The ceilings and walls are made of some material that is VERY poor at drowning out sound. Which is very stressful. I can actually hear my upstairs neighbors flick the light switch on in one of their rooms if I'm quietly trying to read or something. Which means if the neighbors have kids and they are running around, it sounds like a parade is taking place above me and actually shakes the furniture in my apartment. Or if they have a dog, you'll hear all it does. I can hear my neighbors talking, walking, the works. If you are looking for a quiet place to live then I strongly suggest you look elsewhere.
